About the AIC

The Arizona Identification Council (AIC) is a state division of the International Association for Identification.  The AIC is a professional association community for forensic identification experts who have knowledge in: crime scene investigation/reconstruction, latent prints, footwear and tire impressions, forensic art, photography, digital media, etc.  Comprised of individuals worldwide who work in the field of forensic identification, the AIC has over 200 members from local, state, and federal agencies throughout Arizona.

Who can apply for Active Membership to the AIC?
Active Membership in the AIC is open to those persons engaged in the forensic sciences provided they are bona fide employees of, and who receive salaries from national, state, county, or municipal governments, or some subdivision thereof.
Who can apply for Associate Membership to the AIC?
Associate Membership is open to all reputable persons wholly or partially engaged in any of the various phases of the science of identification, and who are not qualified for Active Membership, are hereby eligible to become Associate Members; they shall, in all respects, be subject to the same rules, fees, and charges and entitled to all rights and privileges as Active members, except they shall not be entitled to election to the offices of President or Vice-President.
Who can attend an AIC meeting?
 Active, life active, associate, honorary members, and any interested/prospective members are welcome to attend general business meetings of the AIC.  Certain meetings (e.g. Executive committee meetings) or portions of general business meetings may be restricted to non-AIC members.  Please contact us for more details.
