This training will cover the importance of insects in legal investigations. Specifically, the topics to be covered will be:

 1. Overview of entomology

2. How insects are used in legal investigations

3. How to properly collect, preserve, and send entomological specimens

*This will have a lecture and field component.  

This course is 16 hours of content. *Currently 12 hours of this content is AZPOST approved,16 hours of IAI crime scene certification and recertification credits, and 14 hours of ABMDI CEUs* . Attendees will receive entomological collection kits.
