The Surface Skeleton and Buried Body Recovery Seminar is a 3-day, hands-on course designed to orient detectives, crime scene investigators and medico-legal death investigators to the proper techniques for processing surface skeleton and buried body scenes.
The seminar has enjoyed 30 years of success in Arizona, Nevada, Ohio, and The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Georgia. The principal instructors have decades of experience in the field and have worked as a team in presenting this course for its duration. Students should come prepared to learn proper archeological and anthropological techniques for such recoveries through classroom instruction and by excavating a clandestine grave scenario. The class will include discussion of forensic anthropological, odontological and entomological principles and proper crime scene management. A human scent trained cadaver dog will provide a demonstration.
Class size is limited to allow for adequate hands-on involvement in the practical exercise. Register early to ensure a spot in this training.
